Retirement of Landline
The 0208 landline number used by Optimised Engineering for the past 20 years almost was actually a VOIP number courtesy of Skype. And you thought we were based in London!

Owing to the recent retirement of Skype by Microsoft, this service has been withdrawn with insufficient notice to port the number to another provider.
​
Despite a weak emotional connection to the number, the reality is everybody worth talking to rings on the mobile, so it is a utility we can easily live without. The mobile numbers are not published on this site, as we don't need any more spam calls.

In Memoriam
It is with deep sadness we report the death of Darren Walters, a founder member of Optimised Engineering.
​
Darren passed away in March 2023, just a few months short of his 50th birthday.
​
He is missed by his family, friends and colleagues, and all our customers who have benefited from his knowledge, skills and efforts over the past 18 years.
